A loan of $600 helped to buy a dairy cow.

Roxana Jeannette's story

Roxana is 36 years old and has a partner. She has no children, but her parents are dependent upon her. For a number of years she has been processing milk to make cheese, cream and cheese curd, which she sells in the surrounding communities.

Roxana gets up at 3am to go to the dairy farmers to buy the milk, since this is the hour when she is able to buy it. Once she has collected the milk, she processes it and at 5am on the next day she goes out to sell her products.

Roxana requests a loan from Fundación Campo to buy a dairy cow, so that she could have more milk and make more products. This way she could have a bigger income and save, because she would not have to buy as much milk from other people, as she would have it available for herself.

Roxana wants to have a child soon, and provide that child with everything he needs. In addition, she wants to have her own cows and process more milk so that she can have a better income and provide a better life to her family.
