A loan of $1,500 helped a member to buy shorts, tank tops, t-shorts, and other summer clothing.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

In the city of San Lorenzo, 12 women got together who saw the Fundación Paraguaya program as an opportunity for progress and help. They are hard working, supportive and very humble women. They work hard to be able to help their families and get ahead.

One of them is Mariela, who is able to help her family by selling clothes. She remarks that this job has helped her get ahead and cover the household expenses. She says that thanks to the good quality of the products she sells, she has established a clientele that always goes to her for the clothes she sells.

She is asking for the loan to buy shorts, tank tops, t-shorts and other summer clothing. Warm weather is coming and she wants to be ready to offer these clothes to her customers.
