A loan of $3,250 helped a member to buy women's clothing for eventual resale.

29 De Setiembre Group's story

The September 29th Committee was formed as a result of several neighbors from the city of Mariano Roque Alonso joining together. All of the committee members have developed independent businesses, but they also participate in activities together as a group in order to strengthen their camaraderie. The members have formed a group that is united, hardworking, and enterprising.

Sra. Mirian is one of the committee members. Her family consists of her daughter and her husband who is employed. She says that she sells women’s clothing, which helps her husband with the household expenses and supporting their daughter. Mirian says thanks to the time she invests in her work, she has been able to establish a good customer base who always place orders.

She is requesting a loan to buy clothes for women such as skirts, trousers, jeans, and other items. This will help restock her inventory so that she can offer more variety to her customers.
