Tres Fronteras Group's story

This group from the city of Luque is known as "Tres Fronteras". There are 21 members who are neighbors and friends. They all meet with the hope of a better future for their children and families. The women are heads of their families that want to fight in order to get ahead.

One of the members, Berna, is a craftswoman, working with karanday (a type of wood). She has been with her partner Lucilo for 11 years, who works selling the products that she makes. They have 4 young children who are in school. She tells us that together they are helping themselves to move forward.

She asks for a loan to buy karanday, which is the main material that she needs to make her crafts.

In this group: Berna, Analia, Francisca, Alba, Rita, Sabina, Avelina, Beatriz, Yohana, Sebastiana, Nicolaza, Higinia, Maria, Marlene, Erika, Olga, Merarda, Patricia, Norma*, Maria*, Otilia*
