A loan of $375 helped to buy fertilizers for his crops.

Victor Manuel's story

Victor is 53 years old, married, and has 2 children. He lives with his family in his own house, which is located in the rural Pueblo Libre settlement in the Tambogrande district. This is in the Piura region, 4 hours from the city of Chiclayo, the capital of the department of Lambayeque. Victor lives in a rural part of this district that does not have basic utilities (water or electricity).

Victor is developing a business raising small animals (sheep, pigs and poultry). Once the animals reach an ideal size and weight, he sells them in the local market. In addition, he is a farmer with his own parcel of .62 hectares, where he cultivates mangoes and lemons. He also works with a mototaxi (light, 3-wheeled passenger vehicle) with which he generates daily earnings. These activities serve to cover his personal expenses and the expenses of his family.

Victor wants to buy fertilizers for the fields where he is cultivating mangoes and other fruit. For this reason, he thought it would be a good idea to request a loan of 1,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa.

Victor is a tenacious and enterprising person.
