A loan of $750 helped to buy plastic wash basins, trash bins, wash pails, and laundry baskets.

Peter Severo's story

This client is named Peter. He is 30 years old, single, and in the retail trade. He sells plastic goods (wash basins, trash bins, wash pails, and laundry baskets) and cookware that he acquires in Desaguadero, which is along the border between Peru and Bolivia. Some of the plastic products are purchased from a Bolivian company. The money from this loan will be used to buy plastic merchandise in bulk since there is great demand during the Christmas season. Peter travels twice a month to Desaguadero, but occasionally he will make three trips.

He lives at his sister’s house in the District of Pampahasi Bajo. Her name is Mery and she is 38 years old and a single mother with a three-year-old son. His parents and his brother help Peter with the feeding and clothing of his only nephew since his sister is alone.

Peter is a hardworking and responsible person who has done very well in his business. In the future, he wants to increase his operating capital.
