A loan of $575 helped to purchase Unión products (bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies and cakes).

Maria's story

50-year-old Maria is a hardworking and dynamic woman. She lives with her two children and three grandchildren in a house she owns. Her children are 32 and 8 years old.
Maria sells Unión products. They consist of bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies and cakes. For this purpose she had to sign up with the company in order for them to send merchandise for her to sell, which happens every 15 days. Among her customers are her neighbors, relatives and friends, and many times she provides them with credit for up to 15 days. She has been in this business for 8 months and she used this time to get a regular clientele.
What she likes about her business is to be a person who is financially independent and wishes to be an entrepreneur. Besides, with the profits she makes she has been able to purchase some appliances such as a TV. She makes a profit of up to 100% the amount she invested and this encourages her to move forward. Her plan is to set up a grocery store.
This will be her second loan with MFP. She is happy and thankful for the financial support in order to move forward with her business. She wishes to keep counting on this support and for that reason she says she will be punctual with her repayments. Furthermore, she reports that she is comfortable with her communal bank because its members are kind and supportive people. With the requested loan of 1.500 nuevos soles she will purchase more Unión products, and with her profits she will start a business from her home, such as a grocery store.
