A loan of $575 helped to buy beans wholesale.

Edinson's story

Edinson, 34, is a good hard-working man with a good business vision. He is single and doesn’t have any children yet. All that he earns is for his parents with whom he is still living along with his sister. He dedicates his life to offering a better quality of life to his family.

He sells beans and corn and he processes the corn to sell for chicken feed. He has a small mill that he built together with his friend and partner. They work together and distribute the products to the market in the city. He has been doing this work for four years and it has allowed him to become independent and to have some earnings. What he likes about the work is that he can make his own schedule and he likes to move around the city. The business is going well since he makes an average of 15% over his investment and he is able to reinvest every three days. As with all young entrepreneurs he has a goal and that is to have his own shop to make chicken feed. This will be his third loan with MFP. He is hoping for a small loan so that he can fulfill his goals. He promises to make all the payments on time as he has done with previous loans. He will use the money to buy corn kernels to continue making the chicken feed, and to purchase beans wholesale.
