A loan of $2,450 helped a member to buy products for her store.

Flores Del Campo Group's story

Dorotea is 50 years old and married. She did not have the opportunity to attend school. She has six children who are not in school. Dorotea attends to her household chores and runs a general store. She started her business with a little capital and her husband's support. She has ten years experience selling products in her store.

Dorotea set up a group so that she could request a loan which she would use to buy products such as soda, juice, candies, sugar, noodles, seasonings, etc. She hopes, in the future, to have a well-stocked and large business. The other members of the group run stores, embroider blouses, make clothes, sell food and raise animals.

In this group: Dorotea, Maria Susana, Maria Justina, Santa Roberta, Sebastiana, Margarita, Santa, Pricilia, Natalia Magdalena, Santa Alvina
