A loan of $750 helped to purchase corn and beverages for her business.

Rosalina's story

Mrs. Rosalinda is 34 years old and is married to Mr. Gerardo, together they have 3 children: Omar, Beatriz and Jose Luis, who are all in school. Two are in the 5th and 6th grades of elementary school and the youngest is in the third year of preschool. For the last 6 years, she has been making a living selling corn and beverages.
She decided to start this business as she was looking for a way to help her husband with the household expenses and provide a better quality of life. It also helps to improve their financial position and assure the future and education of the children. The loan received is to purchase corn and beverages to be able to continue selling them.
The greatest wish that Doña Rosa (as she is known by her neighbors) has for her business is that the increase in investment will produce rapid growth. She would like to get a tank of beverages to improve and increase her sales and profits and continue to support her children in their studies hoping that they will have a good profession when they grow up.
She is very satisfied with the support from FRAC and the donations from Kiva, since due to these she enjoys improvements in the output and stock of her business. This helps her to continue saving a portion of her income towards the advanced education of her children.
