Retamas De Mazo Cruz Group's story

The “RETAMAS DE MAZO C.” communal bank is about to start its first cycle in Pro Mujer as part of the Senkata Center. The group is made up of six members and is governed by a board of directors headed by Mrs. Margarita. The members' businesses are varied and include:
a grocery store, cows, weaving blankets, sewing skirts, and shoemaking.

Mrs. Margarita says that this is the first time she has worked with Pro Mujer, and that she joined because of a family member. She currently has a business weaving blankets, which she has done for several years. She learned this work from her mother.

Margarita is taking out a loan to increase her working capital, and buy wool and magazines from Desaguadero. She later sells based on orders. This work allows her to generate an income to support her family where possible. She is married and has four children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she replies that she enjoys the savings and the loans.
