A loan of $1,900 helped purchase a shipment of winter clothes.

Viktoriya's story

Viktoriya is married and has two sons. She lives in the village of Velikaya Znamenka and sells men's and women's clothes at the local market. Viktoriya has two large, wide stalls, which allow her to expand her collection. The stalls are located in a very convenient spot in the market. As Znamenka is a small town, the market there is small as well and the biggest market is for inexpensive, practical clothing- just the type Viktoria offers.

Viktoriya has been trading in the market for 8 years. At this time, the income from her business is around 30,000 hryvnia. Her net income does not exceed 6,000 hryvnia per month. Viktoria would like to receive a Kiva loan of 15,000 to purchase a winter shipment of goods. Before the cold weather begins, this type of product is always in high demand. Viktoria has been in business for a long time and knows there is constant development, looking for new types of goods which bring in even higher profits. She works in a wide circle of people, ordering her goods individually. Her customers are always satisfied with her service, assortment of goods, and prices. In the future, Viktoriya plans to expand the stall and her sphere of influence.
