A loan of $4,400 helped a member to buy clothes, shoes, sheets, blankets and others.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This committee arose thanks to help they got from another committee. Fifteen women in total joined together to improve their lives since they want a better standard of living for their families; they are very self-sacrificing and hardworking. One of the women is Liz. She sells all sorts of products like clothes, shoes, sheets, blankets and more. She comments that she does well in her micro business so would like to continue in it and this is why she’s asking for a loan to buy the products she sells, which are: clothes, shoes, sheets, blankets and others. She thanks the Fundación and Kiva for the opportunity they give her because it will be of much help for her micro business because this is the source of support for her and her family.
