A loan of $375 helped to buy sacks of natural fertilizers.

Delfina's story

43-year-old Delfina is a tenacious mother who provides for her three children. She cares for her children and supports them financially on her own. They live in their own home which is located in the town of San Pedro de Saño. Through her efforts, Delfina gets her children ahead in life. They, in turn, support her with affection.

Delfina's main business is farming. She grows her crops on rented farmland as she does not own her own. Her potato, bean and wheat crops make her good profits with every harvest as she sells them in the capital city. She has 19 years experience. Delfina also sells mixed vegetables in Huancan market where the purchase price is higher and she has two bulls which she uses to plow the soil. When she hires others, they charge her 100 soles a day which is not good. Now Delfina will work with more determination in order to provide her children with a better education.

This is Delfina's thirteenth loan from MFP and she hopes to receive your cooperation so that she can carry out her plans. For her part, she pledges to make her repayments on time as she has done with her previous loans. Delfina enjoys being a member of her community bank because all the members are responsible and very supportive people. With your support, Delfina will invest the money she has requested in buying natural fertilizers to spread over her corn crops.
