A loan of $375 helped to buy skeins of wool.

Cecilia's story

Cecilia, 28, is a fighter. She lives with her husband and two children, Jairo and Kiara, for whom she cares in her own home located in the Chilca district.

Art is in her blood. She learned to knit as a little girl. Her mother taught her all the techniques of knitting. This is why Cecilia converted her favorite pastime into her means of support.

Knitting caps, sweaters, and entire outfits is her job. Every day she receives her customers, who order from her since they know her skill. They also love her very much.

Cecilia lives alone with her children since her husband works as a mine laborer. Her work takes up so much time that she travels only once a month to visit him. "It's the effort he has to make to offer us a better quality of life," she affirms optimistically. This is why she hopes that soon she can expand her business and generate good profits, and in this way have her family together.

This is her first loan with MFP, for which she hopes for your collaboration so she can realize her plans. On the other hand, she promises to make her payments. She also is pleased to be part of her bank, because all the members are responsible and very supportive people.

When she receives her support, Cecilia will invest the requested money in buying skeins of wool for her knitting.
