A loan of $800 helped to purchase seasonal clothing.

Maria Paz's story

Señora María is a new client for the institution. She is a Chilean national, but has been living in Bolivia for the last ten years. She has three children who attend school. She is ensuring their education on her own, as she is separated from her husband.

Señora María works selling clothes that she brings over from Chile every other month. She lives in the Irpavi area in a rented home. She is requesting the loan to purchase merchandise for the year-end festivals, so that she can get seasonal clothing. She sells to her friends and to the moms of her children's school-friends.

She is a very friendly and dynamic woman, who is grateful for the trust being given to her through provision of the loan.
