A loan of $1,125 helped to buy tables and chairs to improve the infrastructure of her stall.

Maria's story

María, 62, is a happy and hardworking woman. She is married to Estalin, and lives with her husband and her 38-year-old daughter; with them she shares her ideals. She has her own home, which they managed to buy with great effort.

María's job is selling fruit juices such as apple, papaya, and special juices, and sandwiches, for which she has a small stall in the informal market of her city, where she pleasantly and happily waits on her customers daily. She has done this work for 20 years, during which time she learned how to earn customers.

What she likes about her job is being able to feel productive; it keeps her occupied and distracts her. It also allows her to have an income with which she can help with the expenses of the family economy. Now she has regular customers who consume all her juices, giving her plenty of profit.

This will be her sixth loan with the MFP institution, and she hopes for your collaboration to continue with her goals. For this reason she is committed once again to making the repayments. She also likes being part of her communal bank because all the members are responsible and supportive people.

With the requested loan of 3000 PEN, she will improve the infrastructure of her stall, both the walls and the floor, buying tables and chairs. She also will buy fruit for preparing her juices.
