A loan of $375 helped to buy feed to fatten his livestock.

Alan Augusto's story

Alan is 27 years old. He is single and doesn’t have children. He lives in the house of his mother, who lives in the Piura region, in the small town of Guaraguaos Alto, in the district of Tambogrande, which is located 4 hours from the city of Chiclayo, the capital of the department of Lambayeque. Alan lives in the rural area of this district and has electricity.

Alan raises small livestock (sheep, pigs, and domestic fowl). When they reach an ideal size and weight, he sells them in the local market. He has been in this business for 3 years. He also works in agriculture, working with his older brother to plant sunflowers and corn. He also works as an agricultural laborer on farms in the town.

Alan wants to buy feed for fattening his livestock and fowl with the goal of getting them to a better size and weight in less time. For this reason he has decided it would be a good idea to obtain a loan of PEN 1,000.00 from Edpyme Alternativa so he can achieve his goal.
