A loan of $1,225 helped a member to buy wheat for grinding and selling flour.

Samina's Group's story

Samina has applied for a loan from KIVA partner Asasah for her husband who has a flour grinding and selling business. His shop is located in the market from where he operates his business. Due to fresh quality flour, he has a good number of clients in his community who purchase flour from him regularly. With the loan he will purchase wheat in larger a quantity which will allow him to sell more flour and increase his profits.

He has operated his business for the past many years and Samina is hopeful that an investment will help him earn more profits from his business. Samina is a housewife who stays at home and does her household responsibilities. She is the mother of 4 children, 3 of them are studying in local school. She is confident about her husband's business success after a loan investment.
