She is 58 years old and married to Bienvenu, a mechanic. They have three children, all in their care and attending school. Assiba Micheline lives with her husband and their children. The parents share the various household expenses. Assiba Micheline has had very little formal education.

Assiba Micheline sells corn, charcoal and akassa (a local food made from corn starch), and as an additional activity she sells fried fish. She gets her supplies in Benin. This is the third time that Assiba Micheline and the other members of Djrodekon 1 Group came to the microfinance institution Alidé and applied for financial assistance in order to increase their working capital and raise their activity level, and thus better meet their clients' demand.
