A loan of $1,125 helped to buy oxygen equipment, medicines, and fertilizers for his crops.

Roberto's story

Roberto is 44 years old. He is single, has no children, and lives in the neighborhood of Baracoa Cortes.

Roberto is a hardworking gentleman. He always wanted to be in the nursing profession and was able to achieve this dream. Eight years ago, Roberto took the opportunity to rent a location where he established a small pharmacy in order to sell basic medicines and provide his services as a nurse to the community. He desires to serve others by helping those who are in need of primary care.

Roberto previously worked as a farmer when he was a young man and still engages in agricultural activities. He has three plots of land on which he grows basic crops, such as corn and beans, as a means of earning additional income.

Roberto requested three previous loans in order to stock his pharmacy and maintain his crops. This is his fourth loan and he wants to buy oxygen equipment to use in providing nursing services and to restock his pharmacy. He also wants to use part of this loan to buy fertilizers to improve his crops.
