Maristela is 40 years old. She is a single mother and has one son.

Maristela sews clothes and makes pupusas. Her husband left her three years ago and, since then, Maristela has worked to support her son and her parents who are now elderly.

With the help of her sister, Maristela sells pupusas every afternoon and, during the day, she sews clothes. She learned how to sew thanks to her parents as they sent her to a school to learn 16 years ago and now this has become a source of income for her and her family. She acquires the supplies she uses to make her pupusas from the closest place to her home. She then returns home and makes them.

Maristela is requesting a loan from Fundación Campo to buy cement, sand and other materials in order to build a perimeter wall to keep her home safe and protected. Her dad grows vegetables and these will be safer. In the future, Maristela hopes to build her own house together with her family.

La señora Maristela tiene 40 años D. edad, es madre soltera D. un hijo.

Ella se dedica a la costura D. ropa y a la elaboración D. pupusas. Hace tres años su esposo dejo el hogar y desD. entonces, Maristela trabaja para mantener a su hijo y a sus padres que ya estan ancianos.

Maristela con la ayuda D. su hermana, venden todos los días por la tarD. pupusas y en el transcurso del día se dedica a la costura D. ropa. Ella aprendió la costura gracias a sus padres ya que la enviaron a una academia para que aprendiera hace 16 años y eso es lo que ahora representa una fuente D. ingresos para ella y su familia. Los insumos para elaborar las pupusas las adquiere en el lugar más cercano a su vivienda, para luego regresar a su casa y elaborarlas.

Maristela solicita un préstamo a Fundación Campo, para comprar cemento, arena, entre otros materiales y construir un tapial perimetral, para mantener segura y protegida su vivienda, ya que su papá elabora cultivos y estos estarán más seguros. Mas adelante ella espera construir su propia casa junto a su familia.
