A loan of $1,100 helped to buy two dairy cows.

Oscar Antonio's story

Oscar is 36 years old. He lives with his life partner and his four children who are 8, 10, 12 and 14 years old. Oscar is a hard-working person who has worked in farming and livestock raising his whole life. He learned these businesses from his dad, who showed him how to earn an honest living. In spite of his academic level, Oscar has worked hard to improve himself. He is a member of a committee which has strengthened his educational skills.

The loan that Oscar is requesting will be invested in buying two dairy cows with the aim of creating a source of income. The rest will be used to buy a small water pump for watering his crops in the summer. As Oscar has waste left over from his winter harvest, he would like to buy cattle so that he can make the most of the pasture and make profits from selling their milk. In this way, Oscar will continue working, doing what he has always done, and will make extra income which will help him and his family. With this income, he would like to finish building his house which has walls but still lacks a roof. Owning his own home is his biggest wish.
