Patassoue's story

Patassoue is a 42-year-old woman. She is married to a retailer and has two children.

Patassoue has been working as a retailer since 1995. She buys and sells corn, beans, cassava flour and pasta, and fruit to the general public in the Hanoukope market in Lomé. She stocks up in the towns around Lomé and works alone.

Patassoue has requested her first loan from WAGES to buy cereals and fruit to sell. She plans to strengthen her business with her extra profits.

Over the coming years, Patassoue would like to expand her business. She says that she plans to use the profits to contribute towards meeting her family's needs.
