Bolamuki Plus Group's story

Ntunuwe is a leader of a community bank named “Bolamuki Plus.” It is composed of 20 micro-entrepreneurs united in solidarity to develop their businesses. Ntunuwe is 38 years old, married and the mother of four children whose ages vary between 6 and 16. All of them go to school. Ntunuwe’s main activity is selling spices. She has acquired solid experience and runs her business in the western area of Kinshasa. Her business brings in a profit of $20 per week. After learning from her friend about Hope’s loan program, she decided to join one of its groups. With her next loan she is planning to purchase more spices to increase her inventory to generate additional profits.
