Nuage Plus Group's story

Kasav is the leader of a community bank named “Nuage Plus”, which is composed of 15 micro-entrepreneurs united in solidarity to receive loans from Kiva through IMF HOPE RDC, with the goal of developing their businesses.

Kasav sells secondhand clothing. She has been in business since 1993. She likes her business and it has prospered thanks to good management and accumulated profits. She is a loyal client of IMF HOPE RDC, and has already received five different loans, repaying them correctly. She intends with the next loan to increase the inventory of her business by purchasing a bundle of secondhand clothing to resell, in order to reinforce the working capital. Currently, she earns a profit of $20 every week. Kasav is 44 years old, married and the mother of two children, ages 2 and 7 years old. One goes to school.

Kasav's dream is to become a used clothing wholesaler in her area.
