Henry is 35 years old and married with 3 children, ages between 2 years and 7 years. He runs an electrical appliance and movies shop in Goderich, western Area in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He also takes care of 1 relative at home.
Henry has been in this business for 8 years and sells televisions, DVDs, discs, extensions, bulbs, cassettes, fans and switches at his shop. His business is the only source of income he has. He says that his business is doing well.
He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more electrical appliances. Henry says that the extra income from this loan will help him increase his savings and take care of his children’s education. In the future, he would like to open another branch in different locations in town.
