A loan of $3,250 helped a member to buy a computer.


Lampard Group's story

Sydney, who is in his mid 20's is single. He operates an Internet cafe sells charcoal, and has done so for about one year. He works from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and is able to make a small monthly profit.

This will be his fourth loan from Tujijenge - Tanzania. He used the previous loans to start selling charcoal, bought an additional computer and for household expenses. He has paid back all his loans successfully.

He hopes for a new loan to buy another computer.

Sydney's dream is to buy and sell rice and beans in Kenya.

He will share this loan with his loan group "Lampard," which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the entire loan.
