Daouda's story

Mr Daouda is married and the father of a two year old child, who does not attend school. He is responsible for four persons. He has been a tailor/seamster for the past 9 years, sewing clothes for women, men and children. He stocks up on cloth at the Toecin market (near Ouaga). He is asking for this loan in order to purchase 220m of cloth for lining, 10m of cloth for double collars, 3 packs of buttons, 10 packs of lace, 2 packets of needles, 36 zippers, 10 packets of sewing thread and 10m of satin. Profits from these sales will be used to improve his working conditions, through the purchase of machines and accessories. In the future, he would like to open a store in order to sell sewing accessories in addition to continuing his sewing business, in order to improve the living conditions of his family and covering their health, education and nutrition expenses.
