A loan of $1,200 helped to increase her sandwich sales.

Carmen Monica's story

Carmen Monica's family moved from Cochabamba a year and a half ago. She has three daughters who are studying. Today, they live in the Villa Paraíso neighborhood, 45 minutes away from the city.

Her husband works as a taxi driver but that only covers some food expenses and barely their daughters' education. His wife, Carmen Monica, works as a street vendor selling food -pork sandwiches- to help, but her sales are not enough to subsist. For this reason, they are requesting a loan to increase her sandwich production in order to help her husband and daughters improve their quality of life.
