The group is made up eleven members who are both friends and neighbors, and whose aim is reaching their goals together. Among them is Carmen, the president, who is 35, married, and the mother of two children.

Carmen is a teacher, and also works every day selling beauty products and lingerie. Thanks to sales of both products, she has been able to generate steady income for her household. She intends to use the recent loan to buy more beauty products, such as skin creams, and lingerie to sell during the Christmas shopping season.

In the future she would like to start a beauty products store and expand her sales to different areas of the city. As with Carmen, each member of the group has their own particular goal, which for them means success, improving their business finances, and financial stability for their families.

Carmen, es la presidenta del grupo JUICE (“Juntos Unidos Iremos al Camino del Éxito”) el grupo está conformado por 11 miembros que a su vez son amigos y vecinos que tiene como objetivo alcanzar metas en conjunto. Entre ellos está la presidenta Carmen de 35 años de edad casada y madre de dos hijos. Carmen es profesora de educación y también se dedica diariamente a la venta de productos de belleza y a la par venta de lencería, gracias a las ventas de ambos productos ha podido generar una economía estable en su hogar. Con el reciente préstamo piensa invertirlo en la compra de más productos de belleza como son cremas para la piel y lencería para la venta para la campaña navideña. En el futuro le gustaría poder inaugurar una tienda de productos de belleza y expandir sus ventas a diversas zonas de la ciudad. Así como Rosa cada integrante del grupo, tiene una meta en particular, que es el éxito y la mejoría económica de sus negocios y la estabilidad económica para sus familias.

The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
