A loan of $925 helped to buy three or four cows.

Dionicio's story

Dionicio, 28, is a responsible man. He lives with Maribel, his wife of two years. Together they have three children: Jonatan, Franco and Emerson, whom they care for in their own home, located in the cluster of homes known as Pantipata. Since his youth he has assumed many responsibilities, among them his family. Thus he devoted his efforts to farming, a business he learned when he was a boy. His primary crops are Yauco coffee beans, corn, peas and other products native to the area. What he enjoys most about his work are the days of harvest, since he makes good earnings from the merchants who visit the Acostambo market, where he takes his foodstuffs to sell. His wife helps him as well with caring for small animals such as cows, bulls and sheep, which they sell for a good price after fattening them.

Now he hopes to work diligently for the future of his children. He belongs to the communal bank "Tancar Puquio" and this is his second loan with MFP. He is happy to be with the organization, because he will have financial support and thus feel confident of advancing in his work. He promises to make his loan payments. Additionally, he appreciates being part of his association because all of its members are responsible people and provide a lot of support to each other. Dionicio, upon receiving his loan, will invest the requested amount in the purchase of three or four cows for his business.
