George's story

George is 37 years old and married and with two children in school. He sells eggs, paraffin and charcoal to earn a living. He has been in the business for six years and has employed one person. Previously, he worked as a mechanic. Most of his customers are low-income earners because his business is located in the slum area.

George hopes to expand his business and buy a kerosene pump to sell kerosene. He has requested a loan of 50,000 Kenya shillings to buy paraffin and charcoal.
