Rosario's story

Rosario, 34, is a very friendly and responsible woman. She lives with her partner and their three children: 15, 10 and 5, in their own house next to her father. Rosario sells food every day in her house but only to those people who rent from her. She has been in this business for ten years and she handles it on her own. She also works on Sundays at an educational center where ex alumni have camps. There she sells grilled meat, ceviche (marinated shellfish) and other dishes that her customers know she will bring and they wait eagerly to enjoy her delicious food. What she likes most about her work is that she is independent and she can work around her schedule as she sees fit. The business is going well and generates good money. She also has her partner’s support since he covers their living expenses. This will be her fourth loan with MFP. She is very happy to work with this group since from the beginning they encouraged her to be a good member. With the amount requested she will buy materials to improve the infrastructure of her home business, as well as to purchase ingredients and supplies to continue preparing her delicious food weekdays and weekends.
