Nerva's story

Nerva is 46 years old and a friendly, honest, and determined woman. She is a single mother of a 13-year-old son. Nerva works hard day after day so that she can provide him the best. She has her own home where she looks after her mother in addition to her son. Nerva’s work involves managing a grocery store where she sells basic necessity products such as sugar, rice, detergents, milk, vegetables, and other items. Her business is located in her home, which is situated on one of the busiest streets in the city. Nerva has been in business for two years, which is enough time to gain the affection of her customers. She provides them a great amount of attention and, above all, excellent service. Nerva is doing well. The income from her store is designated for savings while the salary she earns from her job is used for the household expenses. She hopes to expand her business so that she can have more income.

This will be her sixth loan with the MFP organization. Until now, Nerva has always done well and expects to remain punctual with her payments. She achieved good results with her last investment. Since she has reached a new stage in her group, Nerva has greater expectations. The amount she requested will be used to buy products for her store in greater quantity. This will enable to get a lower price on items such as sacks of sugar, rice, cases of milk, and other necessary products that sell on a daily basis.
