Teodosa Lucia's story

Teodosa Lucia is single and works buying and selling pottery which is a family owned business, and she has diversified her activities by selling tortillas in a little grocery store, according to the season.

One of her necessities is to buy ceramic merchandise such as flowerpots, birds, flower vases, and other items, as she travels to Costa Rica to sell in the summer season, starting in November, in order have the opportunity of doing business through the rest of the summer months. [Late November through April is known as summer in Costa Rica.] This is the reason she visited Ceprodel in order to ask for a loan in order to continue doing business, meeting the demand, and to obtain the funds for the well-being of her family. She has five years experience doing this, and has had good results in sales.
