A loan of $1,575 helped a member buy fabrics.

Bidossessi Group's story

The Bidossessi group consists of twelve people living in the same neighborhood. The representative of the group, named Damienne, is the one whose hand is raised in the photo.

Damienne is 52 years old and the mother of two children, both attending (or having attended) school and living under her care. She interrupted her own education at high school level.

For the past ten years, Damienne has been selling clothing fabrics through the distribution system. This allows her to easily meet her children's various needs and also to support herself. Damienne gets her supplies in Benin and from neighboring Togo.

This is the second time that Damienne and the other members of the Bidossessi group have sought a credit loan from Alida. This loan will allow them to strengthen their business activities and increase their working capital in order to better meet the needs of their customers.
