A loan of $1,475 helped a member to buy goats and sheep to raise and sell.

Razia's Group's story

Razia, age 33, is involved in two businesses: one is sewing and the other is animal breeding. She purchases animals such as goats and sheep in their early age and raises them to sell for profit. Razia's husband is a mason by profession and constructs buildings and housing on contract.

Razia is very efficient and performs her household duties very well along with maintaining her businesses. She is the mother of six children, three of whom are schooling and three of whom are at home.

She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for the further expansion of her animal sales business. With the loan, she will buy goats and sheep, raise them, and sell them to local butchers.

Razia has been operating her animal sales business for the past five years and is very confident that the loan investment will allow her to be successfully able to improve its earnings.
