A loan of $950 helped a member to buy wheat to offer for sale.

Rukhsana's Group's story

Rukhsana, age 26 (shown holding the Asasah Passbook), is a homemaker. She is very active and has many household duties. She and her husband have a six-year-old son who is enrolled in the first grade. Her husband sells wheat at the local market. He is very fair with his clients in his dealings and sells high-quality wheat. Rukhsana has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for the further expansion of her husband’s business. With the loan funds, he will buy wheat in larger quantities, which will allow him to provide better-quality wheat in larger quantities, thus allowing him to earn more profits. Rukhsana is confident that her husband will become more successful in his business after the loan investment. He has been operating his business for many years and Rukhsana has full confidence in him. She is a new loan applicant through Asasah.
