Victoria's story

This member belongs to the ”LOS COMERCIANTES” communal bank. The communal bank is located in the district of Andahuaylillas, in the province of Quispicanchis and department of Cusco. This member is Señora Victoria. She is 74 years old and is single. She has three children; the only one who lives with her is 35 years old. The member works with livestock as her primary economic activity, and she also buys and sells animal fodder such as alfalfa and barley. She buys alfalfa and barley in bulk, and divides it in thirds to sell to different customers. She also sells milk produced by her cows. The member is always looking to devise ways to earn income, and so is never without something to do. In other seasons, she also purchases vegetables and sells them in the markets. On this occasion, the member wants to invest her loan in purchasing alfalfa and barley in bulk. The member is grateful for the loan, and agrees to comply with her repayments according to the repayment schedule.
