A loan of $600 helped to buy more bananas, apples, peaches, melons, papayas, tomatoes, chilis, onions, potatoes, etc.

Divina's story

Divina is 41 years old and married to Senon. The couple have three children: Abel, Marisol and Pablo. All three of their children are in school. They are in the second, fifth and sixth year of elementary school. Divina has been selling fruit and vegetables for more than 12 years. Divina says that she decided to invest in this business as she wanted a way to support her husband with their household expenses and their children's education expenses. She also wanted to enjoy a better standard of living and good financial solvency. She will invest the loan that she has been given in buying more bananas, apples, peaches, melons, papayas, tomatoes, chilis, onions, potatoes, etc. Divina says that one of the challenges she has in her business is growing it a little more. She would like to set up a greengrocer's shop so that she can offer a wide range of products and increase and improve her sales and income because she and her husband will continue supporting their children with their higher education. "I am very grateful to Fundación Realidad for this great support that they have given me as I will be able to expand my business a little further and enjoy a better quality of life together with my family. Thank you".
