A loan of $600 helped to purchase merchandise like blouses, t-shirts, dresses, shorts, skirts, underwear, etc.

Lisbeth's story

Lizbeth, 19, is married to Francisco with whom she has one child, Eduardo, who just turned two. She has been selling clothes for more than 2 years. She says that she decided to start this business because she was looking for a way to help her husband with the costs of the home and to offer her son a better future. She also wanted to have good financial credit and a better quality of life.

The loan that she received will be used to buy more merchandise like shirts, t-shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts, underwear, etc, so that she can have more inventory.

Liz (as she's known to her family) says that her biggest goal for her business is to make it grow so that she can build a store to sell her clothes. This will increase her earnings so that she can ensure her son's education. She is very thankful to the Kiva and FRAC donors for the help they've offered her because it benefits her so much.
