A loan of $975 helped to buy pants, skirts, shorts, blouses, shirts, T-shirts, and underwear for her business.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda is 42 years old, married to Faustino who is a teacher, and has 4 children called Abimael, Margarita, Cristian and Juan. Two of them are in school. One is in his first year of secondary school and the younger in 6th grade at primary school. The others are married.

She has been in the business of selling clothing for 20 years. She says that she decided to start this business in order to help her husband with the household expenses and her children with school expenses, and also she wanted to have a better economic position and quality of life. She is going to use the money from this loan to buy more clothing such as: pants, skirts, shorts, blouses, shirts, T-shirts, and underwear.

She says that one of her goals for her business is to make it grow quite a bit, and she would like to build a facility for the clothing store and in this way improve and increase her earnings, and to be able to continue helping her children with their school expenses so that they can have a career.

She is very grateful to the community bank and to the Kiva loaners for all the help they are providing, and thanks to that she now has a better business and quality of life.
