A loan of $750 helped to invest in buying milk, salt and rennet.

Cira's story

Cira is 52 years old and is married to Elucino, an agricultural worker. The couple have three children who are all married. Cira's business is making and selling cheese. She has been in this business for more than 8 years.

Cira says that she started out in this business as she wanted to support her husband with their household expenses and their children's education expenses. She also wanted to improve their standard of living a little and enjoy more financial stability so that they could live comfortably. Cira will invest the loan money that she received in buying more supplies such as milk, salt and rennet.

Cira's biggest wish is to be able to further grow and expand her business so that she can enjoy better production and have more stock. This will enable her to increase her profits a little more.

Cira is very grateful to Fundación Realidad and Kiva lenders for all the help and trust that they are offering her. Thanks to the support she has received, both her life and her business have changed a lot.
