A loan of $375 helped to buy kitchenware: pots, stew pots, jugs, pitcher, buckents, griddles and firewood.

Maria Luisa's story

María Luisa is 58 years old and is married to Diego. They have three children: Miguel, Amado and Marcos who are studying. The oldest is in first year of Law School and the other two are in second and third year of high school. She is a potter; she both manufactures clay kitchenware and also buys it. She’s been in business ten years.

She says that she decided to start this business because it’s very profitable and it generates good profits that help her husband with the household's and their children’s expenses both to be solvent economically and to have a good standard of living. She will use the loan she got to continue to invest in the purchase of kitchenware like: pots, stew pots, jugs, pitchers, tubs, griddles and firewood.

Doña Mari (this is what her family calls her) says that one of her business goals is to continue investing much more into it because her objective is to make it grow still more to improve and increase profits to continue to save and to assure her children’s professional careers.

She is very grateful to Fundación Realidad but above all to the lenders for the trust and support they are placing in her because thanks to this help she will now have a better business and quality of life.
