A loan of $450 helped to purchase chickens.

Griselda's story

Griselda is 27 years old and is married to her husband Rene, who is a farmer. They have three children: José Luís, Magali and Eduardo, only two of which are in school since the youngest is 2 years old. Griselda has made a living selling chickens for the past five years. She says she decided to start this activity because she was looking for a way to support her husband with household expenses and their children's education, and also to have better economic solvency. She is requesting the loan to invest in the purchase of more chickens so she can continue her sales. She says her goal for her business is to grow it a lot because she wants to build a small store to set up her business with more supplies so she can increase her income. She is very grateful to Kiva donors and partner FRAC for all the support and confidence they are providing. It is thanks to this she now con continue investing in her business and support her family.
