A loan of $550 helped to buy corn.

Adzokuma's story

Adzokuma is a 40-year-old woman. She is married to an engineer and has four children.

Adzokuma has been working as a retailer since 2003. She sells com (a salted cornmeal dough). She buys her products in Lomé and works with one employee. At the moment, her main difficulty is not having enough supplies for her food business.

Adzokuma has requested her first loan from WAGES in order to buy corn.

Over the coming years, Adzokuma would like to open a small restaurant so that she no longer has to sell in the street. She says that she plans to use her profits to offer her children a better education.
