Alex David's story

Alex, 22, lives with his wife and daughter in his own house which lacks basic utilities and is located in the rural part of Tambogrande District that belongs to Piura Department. This zone is noted for farming, animal husbandry and crafts making.

For several years now Alex has been raising pigs and barnyard fowl to sell. His corral, which is appropriate, is located in his back yard. He feeds them nutritionally balanced feed and natural grasses so that his animals will develop optimally to be sold in various local markets producing good profits to cover his daily household obligations.

He has requested a 1500 new sol loan to buy more nutritionally balanced feed for his animals and to repair the corrals. With income obtained he will be able to repay the loan and improve his family’s quality of life. Alex is a hardworking, enterprising person whose only wish is that his family gets ahead and improves economically.
