A loan of $575 helped to buy clothing and animal feed.

Maria Lorena's story

María, 26, lives with her husband and children in her own house which only has electricity and is located in the rural part of Tambogrande District belonging to Piura Department, a zone noted for farming, animal husbandry and crafts making.

María sells clothes, a business she’s run from home for a few years. She sells her merchandise to her customers at home and also brings merchandise to order trying to increase customer demand so that income will increase to meet her family expenses. She also raises barnyard fowl to sell thus having an additional source of household income.

Seeing that her business is more profitable every day she thought it necessary to request a 1500 new sol loan from Edpyme Alternativa to buy larger amounts of clothes to stock her store with innovative items and to buy nutritionally balanced feed for her barnyard fowl with the goal in mind that her customers continue to increase so that she can repay the loan, improve her quality of life and continue supporting her family economically.
