A loan of $575 helped to buy vaccines for his cattle and wire to renovate his fence.

Findencio's story

Fidencio, 45, is an enterprising, cheerful man. He lives with his wife and four children in his own house. Fidencio raises cattle. He buys the animals when they are still calves and sells them when they’ve matured completely. This is also what happens when cows he owns give birth.

He has a piece of land where he keeps his entire herd of cattle in good surroundings and well cared for. He knows everything necessary for this type of work having learned helping his parents in the fields. Now, his children help him but for heavy work he needs to hire twenty day laborers. What he likes about his work is that it generates income to cover his household expenses. He very much wants to continue growing.

This will be loan #4 with MFP. He feels comfortable in his communal bank group because he considers them to be responsible, good people. He will use the 1500 new sol loan to buy cattle vaccines and wire for fence maintenance.
